Swarm prevention, and the practical care of swarmed colonies

Honeybees will swarm this spring, and it’s not too early to be planning for the natural swarming instincts of your honeybee colonies.  Bring your thoughts, practices and questions regarding swarm prevention and utilization, for open discussion led by Jeff Montag. If you have unique devices for swarm prevention and collection, feel free to bring them along for show-and tell!

SIBA Meetings occur the 3rd Thursday of each month through the year with topics being added to the event ahead of each meeting. Meetings are held at 6:30pm at the Sunman American Legion unless otherwise stated ahead of time in the newsletter and website. We're also looking for volunteers to help make the club GO.
